Hereford Place 6 preview | 14th February

14.00: Vickers.Bet Fillies’ Juvenile Maiden Hurdle

Irish raider EMOTIVO has shaped well in both her hurdle starts to finish fourth and is very interesting for a trainer and jockey who have their only ride and runner on the card. Nicky Henderson’s THERAPIST would have gone close at Doncaster last time out without a late fall and should go close to making amends.

Tips: EMOTIVO, THERAPIST

14.30 – Download The Vickers.Bet App Maiden Hurdle

This is a good opportunity for Dan Skelton’s ILLICO DE COTTE to open his account. He has finished second in two of his three starts and was well supported in the market for a Grade 2 race at Cheltenham in his penultimate start. He should be hard to beat, but the consistent GOLDEN DE COEUR is another to consider.

Tips: ILLICO DE COTTE, GOLDEN DE COEUR

15.00 – Vickers.Bet Best Prices Guaranteed Daily Novices’ Handicap Chase

NATTY NIGHT likes it here, having yet to finish out of the frame in three starts at the course and returned a comfortable winner at Leicester when last spotted. He can be shortlisted, as can SEYMORE PROMISE, who ran well when second last time and is Freddie Gingell’s only ride.

Tips: NATTY NIGHT, SEYMOUR PROMISE

15.30 – Vickers.Bet Weekly Free Bet Club Handicap Chase

AMALFI SKYLINE has less to prove than most, having scored over C&D last time out, and must have every chance of following up in this weak contest. SUPASUNRISE has made the frame in two of his three starts at this venue and should be respected for being one of the form horses.

Tips: AMALFI SKYLINE, SUPASUNRISE

16.00 – Always Gamble Responsibly At Vickers.Bet Mares’ Handicap Hurdle

LADY BALKO has gradually improved with each start, particularly the last twice since going handicapping, and should go well after running well when second last time out. SELKIRK GRACE was marginally denied on her handicap debut last time and should also be thereabouts.

Tips: LADY BALKO, SELKIRK GRACE

16.32 – Vickers.Bet Proudly Supporting British Racing Handicap Hurdle

GALAHAD THREEPWOOD can find himself 3Ib below his last winning mark and should do better than last time, returning to better ground, while FADED FANTASY will find this easier than the last two assignments he has been set. He looks well treated, with a mark of 105 at this level.

Tips: GALAHAD THREEPWOOD, FADED FANTASY
